Celebrating the Biggest Upgrade in Boson’s History
We’re excited to announce the Boson Merge-Burn Program – a groundbreaking token burn initiative to commemorate the historic integration of Fermion Protocol into Boson, creating the unified Boson Decentralized Agentic Commerce Protocol (dACP).
The Historic Merge
This program marks a transformational milestone: the integration of what was Fermion Protocol into an upgraded Boson Protocol. This creates a single, unified protocol enabling the decentralized commercial exchange of any asset between any agent, human or AI.
Boson has evolved from a protocol enabling commerce between humans to the decentralized commerce layer of the agentic economy – handling everything from everyday e-commerce to high-value RWAs, all orchestrated by the $BOSON token.

Community-Driven Decision
The community has spoken! In our recent poll, 78.1% of participants chose weekly token burns over monthly burns, demonstrating strong support for more frequent deflationary action.
The Merge-Burn Mechanism
Core Structure
We’ll burn 200,000 $BOSON tokens each time the token reaches a new $0.10 milestone, based on daily closing prices on CoinGecko (UTC).
Burn Schedule:
- $0.10, $0.20, $0.30… all the way up to a cap of $5.00
- No burns beyond $5.00 token price
Key Features
✅ Transparent and rule-based – objective criteria, no discretionary decisions
✅ Publicly verifiable – anyone can check CoinGecko closing prices
✅ Manipulation-resistant – based on daily closes, not intraday spikes
✅ Simple to track – no complex calculations needed
Execution Process
- Threshold Detection: Price milestones monitored via daily CoinGecko closing prices
- Weekly Burns: Tokens burned every Tuesday for thresholds achieved the previous Monday-Sunday
- Burn Address: Tokens sent to the standard burn address: 0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dead
- Transparency: All burn transactions will be publicly announced with transaction hashes on Etherscan
One-Time Triggers: Each price level can only trigger one burn
Why Merge-Burn
This program serves multiple strategic purposes:
🔥 Deflationary Pressure: Permanent token removal creates supply scarcity
🎯 Community Value: Rewards ecosystem participants through enhanced tokenomics
🚀 Milestone Celebration: Each burn marks progress toward new price discovery
⚖️ Fair Distribution: Rule-based system ensures transparent, manipulation-resistant burns
Looking Forward
The Boson Merge-Burn Program represents more than tokenomics optimization – it’s a celebration of our evolution into the essential commerce infrastructure for the agentic economy. As we approach the launch of Boson dACP, this program ensures our community benefits from the value creation of this historic transformation.
Every burn will mark another step forward in building the decentralized commerce layer that will power the future of agent-to-agent commerce.
